Strand of the Ancients is a 15v15 battleground with a heavy emphasis on vehicle warfare. The first attacking team is given 10 minutes to break through three sets of gates and reach the Relic Chamber. The roles are then reversed and the other team is given the same amount of time as the first team to reach the Relic Chamber. If they can beat that amount of time, they win. If one team does not reach the Relic Chamber and the other team does, the one that does wins.

Players that are attacking can ride siege vehicles which destroy walls, as well as drop bombs by walls. Players that are defending can utilize cannons by the walls that make short work of the siege vehicles. In addition, the vehicles can be slowed.
