Ironpaw Tokens are the "greater" cooking token - the other one being Epicurean's Award. These tokens are given to players as rewards for completing cooking daily quests in the most current expansion, similarly to how the PvE and PvP currency work, except on a larger scale.

Currently, Ironpaw Tokens allow for a fairly flexible acquisition curve. Cooks new to Pandaria cooking will encounter their first tokens in the Valley of the Four Winds' town of Halfhill, where the Ironpaw cooking family will teach them a number of recipes and hand them tokens for cooking the newly-learned dishes. Then, once players hit level 90, NPCs in Halfhill will offer them one of several cooking daily quests that award a single Ironpaw Token upon completion. Note that these quests take place in the same area as The Tillers' dailies, so there is no reason not to do them together. And finally, regardless if the players' level (as long as they have gone through the basic Ironpaw training in Halfhill), Nam Ironpaw will offer the (infinitely) repeatable Replenishing the Pantry. If you are short on Tokens, you can always go out in Pandaria and farm almost any kind of fish, meat, or vegetable. Nam will trade you 20 fish/meat or 100 vegetables of the same type for 1.

In terms of rewards, Ironpaw Tokens can be spend on mostly cooking reagents. Sacks of fish and meat, such as Sack of Jewel Danio and Sack of Crocolisk Belly, will give you 5 of whatever fish/meat you choose; similarly, sacks of vegetables (e.g. Sack of White Turnips) will give you 25. Soy sauce, black pepper, and rice flour are other reagents you will need Tokens for. The "specialization-free" Mists banquet/feast will cost you 10, while the cosmetic Flippable Table will eat 40 of them - but allowing you to flip a table in an expression of rage! Finally, you can use the Ironpaw Tokens to purchase your own Pandaren cub chef's apprentice ( Cooking School Bell) and a three-piece heirloom cooking set (Tradition of Cooking) to match your Chef's Hat purchased with Epicurean Awards.
