The Ashen Verdict is an alliance of the best craftsmen of the Argent Crusade and the Knights of the Ebon Blade. Its leaders are Tirion Fordring and Darion Mograine, and both of them can be found in Light's Hammer, the Verdict's base of operations just inside the Icecrown Citadel. Alchemist Finklestein, formerly located in Zul'Drak, now serves as the Quartermaster of the raid faction. He will sell patterns and plans for leggings and boots - all at the price of 1 Primordial Saronite.

In addition to all of the patterns players can buy from Finklestein, those who reach reputation standing of Friendly or higher will be awarded an upgradable epic ring of their choice. The ring, much like the one from Karazhan and the Violet Eye, will get better with each new reputation level, reaching item level 277 (equivalent to Icecrown Citadel 25-players, Heroic) at Exalted. If you decide the ring no longer suits your spec, you can pay a fee of 200 and replace it with one of another spec.

Reputation is gained from killing mobs inside Icecrown Citadel, and select classes can also gain reputation from completing the Shadowmourne quest chain. Most bosses give 250 reputation, The Lich King gives 1500 reputation, and larger trash mobs give 50 reputation.

Exalted with the Ashen Verdict grants The Ashen Verdict and the title <Name> of the Ashen Verdict.
