The Earthen Ring

Description

This gathering of the most powerful shaman of Azeroth seeks to maintain the balance between the world's elemental forces. Their main focus during the cataclysm has been to repair and stabilize the damage caused by Deathwing's arrival.

More info

The Earthen Ring is a faction composed of shamans, whose main goal is to restore the balance of the elements in the ravaged post-Cataclysm world. Officially led by the tauren Muln Earthfury, the Ring maintains a strong positive relationship with the former Warchief of the Horde, Thrall, as well as the druids of the Cenarion Circle due to a large overlap in ideals. With the world thrown in turmoil after Deathwing's re-emergence into the Azeroth, members of the Earthen Ring can be found in most of the decimated zones on the planet. However, their presence is mostly powerfully felt in Vashj'ir, Deepholm, and the Twilight Highlands.

Reputation

Unlike most Cataclysm factions, the Earthen Ring is not contained in a single zone. Instead, their members can be found in multiple areas, which makes reputation farm a little less focused, but also not as monotonous. Exalted with the Earthen Ring grants The Earthen Ring.
  • Quests. Players who wish to increase their reputation with this faction should prioritize Vashj'ir, Deepholm, and the Twilight Highlands as their questing zones. In theory, those three could be enough to take a character from 80 to 85, but in case you are unable to progress to the next zone in the list, the required levels are 80, 82, and 84 respectively. There are no dailies associated with this faction.
  • Tabard. Once you have achieved Friendly status with the Earthen Ring and have unlocked the Silvertide Hollow quest hub in the Shimmering Expanse, you will be able to purchase Tabard of the Earthen Ring from Provisioner Arok there. As long as you wear this tabard, monsters in Grim Batol and Halls of Origination, as well as all of the Cataclysm heroic dungeons, will award reputation with the Ring. This method of reputation gain is called championing.
