Kirin Tor is a sect of wizards, stationed in Dalaran, that study and record all of humanity's magic and artifacts. They are also charged with the protection of the city, but once failed to prevent Archimonde from destroying the city, who was summoned by defected Kirin Tor member Kel'Thuzad. The remaining members of the Kirin Tor were determined to salvage the ruins and reclaim their once magnificent city. The members of Kirin Tor are now cautious about who is let into their organization in fear of more defections.

Reputation

• Quests: Questing in the bases above will grant reputation, as well as completing Cooking, Fishing, and Instance dailies in Dalaran.
• Tabard: Once you have achieved Friendly status with the Kirin Tor, you can purchase the Tabard of the Kirin Tor. Wearing this in Wrath heroics (as well as normal level 80 instances: Utgarde Pinnacle, The Culling of Stratholme, The Oculus, Halls of Lightning), will award reputation with the Kirin Tor.
• Mages: All Mages start off at Friendly with the Kirin Tor.

Rewards

Exalted with the Kirin Tor is required for:

• The Kirin Tor: Earn exalted status with The Kirin Tor.
• Northrend Vanguard: Gain exalted reputation with the Argent Crusade, Wyrmrest Accord, Kirin Tor and Knights of the Ebon Blade.
